Odal wind farm is located in Nord-Odal municipality on the border between Innlandet and Viken counties and consists of the sub-areas Songkjølen and Engerfjellet with 23 and 11 turbines, respectively.
Zephyr is responsible for the development of the Odal wind farm, with an installed capacity of 160 MW.
Construction work began in June 2020, and the plant is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022, somewhat delayed due to covid-19. Zephyr has project responsibility on behalf of Odal Vindkraftverk AS.
It is the first wind power project in Norway where the lower part of the turbine tower consists of concrete elements (64 m), and the rest steel (80 m).
